As a formula feeding Mum I find myself spending hours every week washing and sterilising bottles. In the 5 1/2 months since Max was born I’ve washed approx 1,320 bottles! Max is on thicker formula due to his reflux and you wouldn’t believe the amount of elbow grease it takes to remove the residue from his bottles.

A few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to try out the Milk Buster from Nimble Babies and I jumped at the chance. I’m always interested in trying things that will make life with a baby that little bit easier.

Washing up liquids are designed to target food grease, but the Milk Buster is designed to detach milk fat and proteins from plastic, which means no more cloudy and smelly bottles. It’s also made from completely safe ingredients derived from sugar, amino acids and coconuts, and is specifically designed to be used on baby products.

The product couldn’t be simpler to use. Just fill the bottle with warm water, spray twice with the Milk Buster and wash with a brush. You can also spray directly into the teats and get into all those hard to reach areas. Then simply sterilise the bottles in your normal way.

The Milk Buster doesn’t lather like normal washing up liquid so there’s no soapy bubbles to rinse away and it has a nice neutral odour that doesn’t overpower.

A little goes a long way with this product and each bottle should last you approx 2 months. Amazing value for money when the RRP is just £5.99 for a 200ml bottle.

I can’t believe I didn’t find this product sooner but I’m so pleased I have now. A definite must have for all the Mum’s out there.

Nimble Babies Milk Buster is currently available to buy from Amazon, Tesco, Kiddicare, JoJo Mamam Bebe and many other retailers.
