It’s no secret that my go to clothing for Max is a nice pair of leggings. They’re comfortable, flexible and don’t restrict movement. We have over 30 pairs and this week our collection grew when Lottie & Lysh sent us some to try out.
Lottie & Lysh was started by a mum who had a love for sewing. After hand making her own children’s clothes, Lottie soon realised, with a bit of gentle encouragement from family and friends, that there was a high demand for her items. So she bit the bullet and set up her Facebook page and within a few short months the orders were rolling in and the business has gone from strength to strength ever since.
Lottie & Lysh offer unique and on trend clothes for babies and children, offering sizes from newborn right up to six years. Using the very best fabrics and designs that are not only practical but look great too, they’ve come up with a range that will make your little people stand out from the crowd.
Sticking to the monochrome theme that I’ve grown to love the first pair of leggings we got were in the ‘monocross’ fabric. The pattern of these leggings can carry you through all the seasons and can be styled with a range of other colours.
They’re made out of soft and stretchy organic jersey, making them kind to our little one’s sensitive skin. Their flexibility makes them ideal for a little boy who is constantly on the move.
The second pair of leggings I went for came in a Lottie & Lysh exclusive fabric, ‘Lion Noir’. This print is designed in house, meaning you won’t find it anywhere else.
These leggings are made from cotton/elastane jersey fabric and are super soft to touch. The print is bold, yet classy, and as with the ‘monocross’ leggings they can be teamed with almost any top. We like to keep it simple with these though and match it with a plain white t-shirt, letting the striking pattern on the leggings be the main focal point of the outfit.
Lottie & Lysh also handmake a range of children coats and jackets. Featuring an oversized hood, their signature ‘Charlie’ jacket is to die for and comes in various reversible prints. You’ll also find the ‘Bertie Bear’ and ‘Rocky Raccoon’ jackets – because is their anything more adorable than a hood with ears?
