I know, I know, it’s only October and I’m already talking about the ‘C’ word! You may think I’m mad but I’m determined to be organised this year. I always leave it to the last minute to get my Christmas presents sorted, meaning I have to battle the crowds of equally disorganised people, and that’s no good for my stress levels. But alas, I’m a changed woman, and I’m proud to say I already have all of Max’s Christmas presents wrapped and stored away for the big day.

Two is a tricky age to buy for and I know I struggled to come up with fun, yet practical gifts for Max. That’s why I thought I’d let you all in on my purchases this year, in the hope it gives you some inspiration.

So read on to see my Christmas gift ideas for a two year old……..

Little Tikes Perfect Fit 4-in-1 Trike – £89.99

This Christmas Max’s main present is the Perfect Fit 4-in-1 Trike from Little Tikes. This trike, available in teal or pink, is aimed at children aged between 9 months to five years. With 4 adjustable seat options and a 5-point seatbelt and safety bar, it’s the perfect trike to grow with your child. At the earliest stage the parent takes full control of both pushing and steering, then as your child grows in confidence you can let them take over the pedals. Once they’ve mastered that you can remove the waist bar and pass the steering over to them too. Soon they will have full control and will be off peddling and steering all on their own. There’s a removable and adjustable canopy, perfect for protection on sunny days, and a convenient little cup holder so your little one can keep hydrated during their outing. There’s a lot to love about this trike and I can’t wait for Max to get going in it.

Jingle Jungle Bowling – £28.99

The Jingle Jungle Bowling from Born Gifted is a great game that all of the family can get involved in. It’s just like the grown up version of bowling, but a lot more fun! The pins are made from soft and brightly coloured plush, with each one resembling a different animal. There are six pins included and they come in the form of an elephant, a lion, an alligator, a zebra, a giraffe and a monkey.  Inside each pin is a little bell that produces a jingle when shaken or knocked down. The ball is made from the same soft material as the pins and also has a bell inside. I know Max will have hours of fun playing with this and it’s a great game for developing hand-eye coordination.

Cuddle Buddy Fluffy Fudge Teddy Bear – £16.99

I still have a few of my teddies from when I was little and they hold such fond memories for me, so I’m keen for Max to follow in my footsteps. This Christmas we’re adding to his teddy bear collection and have got him this gorgeous Cuddle Buddy Fluffy Fudge Teddy Bear from GiftPup. This adorable little guy is not only extremely soft and fluffy but he also comes personalised. Available with either a black or white t-shirt and complete with a message of your choice, his look is completed with a gold ribbon round his neck. This fella is the perfect teddy bear for children of all ages.

Shark Hooded Towel – £19.99

We love bath time in our house and we make sure Max has a good old splash in the tub before he heads off to bed. I’m a real sucker for a hooded towel and have been ever since that first bath we gave him all those months ago. This Christmas we’ve got him this funky Shark Hooded Towel from Find Me a Gift. Suitable from aged two upwards this towel is made of 100% cotton and comes with a shark head hood and fins. Finished with pockets to help keep those little hands warm and dry this towel is fun, bright and cosy – let’s just hope it doesn’t bite!

Baby Bogs Waterproof Boots – £55

These Baby Bogs waterproof boots will be perfect for splashing in puddles during our weekend trip to feed the ducks. They’re 100% waterproof and machine washable and come in an array of colours and patterns. These stylish boots have easy pull on handles on either side, meaning as our little ones grow and become more independent they can put them on themselves with ease. They also have a plush and snug lining, helping to keep those little toes warm during the winter months. These boots are perfect for the little explorers in our lives.

Fox Fisherman’s Jacket – £39

Following on from the splashing in puddles theme above, this Fox Fisherman’s Jacket will be perfect for the rainy and cold winter we’re bound to have. It’s cotton lined making it comfortable and cosy and is not only waterproof but also protects your little one from the wind. It’s playful design makes it stand out from it’s competitors and features a fox face and ears on the hood and a printed fox tail to the back. It’s fun, bright and utterly adorable and I can’t wait to take Max out in it!

Hallmark Itty Bitty’s Marvel Collection – £26.99

These Hallmark Itty Bitty’s make the perfect stocking filler. Suitable from 4 months upwards these mini plush toys are great for popping in your changing bag so your little one has something to play with whilst out and about. We opted to get Max the Marvel collection which features characters such as Spider Man and Captain America, but there are plenty others to pick from, including Star Wars and Scooby Too.

So there it is, my Christmas gift ideas for a two year old. As you’ll see I’ve gone for a real mix of presents, and there’s something there to suit every budget. I hope I’ve given you a few ideas which your little one will love. Happy shopping!
